Symbolic of so much. POTD 2.18.07

I don't collect things per se, but...I really do like Willow tree figurines. I have several, symbolizing something special in our life. This is one that touches me. I see this in several different ways, much like the challenge for this week. I see a daddy, totally falling in love with his new baby. I see the baby, completely and utterly trusting his daddy's hands. I see the symbol of life forever changing with the birth of a baby. I see innocence. I see my DH and DS as the two most important men in my life! Please give your spouse and child hugs tonight...they are truly the most precious gifts you will ever receive. (natural light, ISO 200, Ap and shutter varied. Defog and crop and a conversion applied, giving a vintage look.) Thank you for looking and for all the wonderful comments/CC-definitely appreciated!

Dang it, you made me cry!
Okay, I'm overly sentimental at the moment, but still.
Beautiful, Heather.

Heather - beautiful sentiment and beautiful photos. You captured the essence of all of your interpretations of the figurine in your photos. Each one is a different perspective - physically and emotionally. Remarkable.

I love this! You really touched me. What a great reminder for all of us to appreciate what we often take for granted. On the photography end, you knocked this out of the ballpark.
