Can't get anymore yellow than the yellow in the Crayola Crayon box. My absolute fav color is about 2-3 shades lighter, but...this is pretty close and this box only had 8 colors to choose from. I still like to color at age 30. There is something theraputic about it for me. Probably the same reason I enjoy scrapbooking so much...I love to create! Ever played around with Prisma colored pencils, blending? Talk about pure joy! Unfortunately I was too cheap to purchase a box of Prismas and opted for a $.87 box of Crayolas. Besides...these crayons are very cultural...3 languages on each crayon. Pretty nifty. ISO200, Ap 3.2, macro 100 lens.

Very neat. I've never noticed the different languages on crayons. Wonder if it's on all of them?? The spanish word for yellow is the name of my hometown... :) There are (or used to be) some yellow wildflowers that grew here, so the name.

Bummer that 2peas is down today! I had your blog saved in my "favorites" list, so I can still check out your POTD, though! Very cute; this is a pic that I've always wanted to try, too. I've been thinking about using colored pencils, so you'll have to give me some pointers if I can't get them to cooperate. lol I can definitely see your favorite color being yellow! :O)

Great shot...glad you posted comments on my site before so I could check out your photo. Yellow is my son's favorite, so our yellow crayon does not look that nice.

I love to color, too. I tried a shot like this at a birthday party I went to. I didn't turn out to well. If it would have been Crayola crayons, I'm sure the picture would have turned out better. This pic is awesome. Great Job!!
