Hands. POTD 7.2.07

I love hands. Hands that tell stories. These are hands of a bride I did a wedding for. This was her second marriage and I wanted it to be special, with lots of detail pictures (my favorite kind of photos to take.) I love the story these hands tell. So much character and grace. I love that they are manicured, yet show a touch of age. I honestly think I could take photos of hands all day long. this was taken with my 50mm, converted to a chocolate color and then, a tad of burning around the edges.

very nice shot! I'm not sure what I'm going to shoot this week. I may play around in the waiting room at the hospital before my surgery on Tuesday....

Lovely capture. I understood right away that this was a later in life marriage, just by looking at her hands.
