Buried in sand. POTD 1-25-07
I love this pic. These are the feet of my DS and DH, buried in sand. There is no better feeling in the world then to have you feet buried in warm sand with water running over it. This is the first time my DS got to experience this sensation and he seems to really enjoy it. I have a little beach bum on my hands...too bad we live as far away from the beach as possible;) It's moments like this that make me the happiest mom/wife alive!! Natural light, ISO 400, Ap 3.5. 24-70L.
I also wanted to add this pic in too. I have not tried the Orten technique yet, not sure if I'm crazy about it. I tried the midnight sepia on this one and like how it added a nostalgic feeling. I believe it's pretty close to the same specs, taken on the same day.

You know, I've never been to a "real" beach before. The closest we have ever gotten is the pseudo-beaches by the rivers and lakes we have here. I have always loved the toes-in-the-sand shots. Precious!!!
