A few from my photo walk. POTD 2-11-07

I took little DS for a walk yesterday, late aftenoon and decided to take my camera along. I think you look at things differenly when you are looking for things to take photos of. Even "sleeping" plants can be fun to photograph if you find the right ones. I have no idea what these plants' names are, but thought they made for some interesting pictures. The first one I could not decide if I liked color of BnW with all that texture and contrast. Natural light, ISO 400, Ap 3.2 and 4.0. 24-70L. Defog, curves/levels adjustment, crop.

I'm loving the third one. It's so soft and feathery looking. Nice job.
I think I like the color of the pine cone-looking one better. It might be interesting with a bit of color boost.

Neat shots. I think I prefer the color to the B&W of the first one. The third one is a winner. Great detail and your focus and exposure is right on.

Not sure what they are either but both shots are very nice. I prefer the color on the first one and the third one is very cool.
