I took the test!!!
So, remember how I was not feeling good the other day? Well...I had a hunch that this is the reason for the upset stomach.
I will obviously go to my doctor this week to get final confirmation, but...could not wait to post. Anyone else have kids close together? I would love to get some helpful tips as this comes as a bit of a surprise to us (although a "positive" one of course) and we're just a tad nervous having 2 kiddos in diapers at the same time;)

CONGRATS..so happy for you! How old is your son? I heard that when they're close in age, they are close in relationship too. So great for them My son will be 3 in April and we've been hoping for another one soon!! Hope you're feeling ok!
I really like having my two kids close especially since my brother & I are 6 years apart... they are 19 months apart & they are such buddies. Although, my biggest complaint is having to play referee all the time since neither one of them understand the sharing very well yet. Let me know when you get to potty training... that's a whole lot of fun once it's over and done with ;)
Congratulations, I saw your post on 2peas :-) I have two boys 2 years apart in age (nearly 2 and nearly 4) and we are expecting another in August so we will soon have three close in age, you'll be fine, it's great fun watching them grow together. I'm so happy for you :-)
I think it is great to keep the chaos close together. If you spread it out too far, you run the risk of never wanting to jump back in.

CONGRATULATIONS! my kids are all close...14, 13, 12 and 12. so we had three-that's right-three in diapers. just keep saying on those rough days "i will get thru this". the plus of it all is they do everything together...you will have a blast as you seem like a fun person!

I think 'close' kids will grow up to be close :) Our last 2 were 16 months apart - son Gabe got a little sister. It WAS weird coming from the hospital and changing teeny diapers to coming home and changing teeny AND big ones but it was totally worth it and home life was so much fun. These 2 have always been together and people have often thought them twins ... they get along so well and love to do things together - they are the last ones 'home' now!

YAY!!! I have 2...they're 3 days shy of 18-months apart. I'm not going to lie, it's not easy, but soon enough you'll all adjust - and you won't be able to imagine it any other way!
LOL - not to freak you out, but my reponse to every person who has said, "2 in diapers!" has been, "2 in diapers, nothin' - talk to me in 18 years when I have 2 in COLLEGE!" ;)

How far apart will your children be? My girls are 17 months apart, and I wouldn't change it for anything! Yes, it was difficult in the beginning, but they are the absolute best of friends.

My girls are 22 months apart - but honestly, they didn't become real friends until they were in their 20s!! Yikes!
But it was AWESOME having them close together. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
Congratulations!!! I have 3 step kids and 2 of my own - that's 5 kids 10 and under.. Closest together are 15 months and furthest is 28 months. They are wonderful siblings and teach each other so much. I lovet eh close age range because they are best friends.
Congratulations - that's exciting news! My boys are 3 years apart, so I can't give much advice there. Hope you are feeling better soon! I can remember having saltine crackers at my bedside in the morning to help settle my stomach.

My first 2 kids are almost 4 years apart--then only 23 months between the middle and last. My dd and youngest son have always been closer than my oldest and either of the other two. I think it was because of the age thing. If I were doing it again, I would make sure they were all close in age--it just works better--they have so much more in common! Wonderful news for you!!
So happy for you! I've had two kiddos in diapers twice, and it's not so bad. I've got four kids at two sets of them are less than 2 years apart. They are the best of friends (most of the time). It will be a lot of work, but I'd rather have them close together and enjoying similar stages together.

YAAAY - Sorry I just saw this so late! That is SO exciting... Like I told you before my sis and I were 17 month apart and we are great friends now... yes we had bumps in the road in MIDDLE school but who doesn't? Here's wishing you a healthy, "uneventful" 9 months! CONGRATS!

Life has been too busy lately to have much computer time, so I'm late in reading this...but big time congratulations!! I think you'll love having the kids close together, esp. once they're out of diapers! (We have huge age spans between our 4 girls,and if I could change that, I would!) So many congrats...that is so excititng!!!
