Sun and sand! POTD 5.8.07
The week of weather. I've experienced about 4 seasons in the last couple of weeks. We had snow last night here at home, and yet...while we in Florida, nothing but sun and sand! Obviously, these pics were taken in Florida. Little A LOVED the sand and water! When we put him on the ground, he'd make a beeline to the water every chance he got. We didn't keep him out long for the sake of his baby skin, but long enough to get some pictures for his baby book. I think I took most of these with my 85mm, with my ISO at 400. I kept it on AV mode because he was moving and groving. I converted a few to a creamy BnW because I liked how it looked with the sand. Oh yea, and in that last shot...he just got done putting a fist full of seashells in his mouth...Y.U.C.K!

Way cute photos! I have to say I really like the b/w conversion on these! The color is fun too, but there is just something timeless about the b/w. And I'm not jealous at ALL that you were at the beach!
How are you feeling with the bun in the oven?

I LOVE the 2 where he's building his little sandcastle! What a cute little tummy he's got! :)
These are great. Ocean side shots are the absolute best, especially for those of us miles and miles away.
These will be a nice addition to the baby book!
Sweet little one, these are great pictures! I like the creamy b/w as well, I think the water looks awesome with that conversion as well.

These are great photos for his baby book! I like the color shots and wouldn't have thought the b/w would have worked well on these, but I really like the results. Love the hat and orange swim suit!
