Hello old friend. POTD 6.29.07

I have not used one of these for a while;) I was weeding out the bathroom "supplies" and found my brush. Since having such short hair, I've not had to use one of these. I'm attempting to grow out my hair for the umpteenth time and decided to bring it out again for good measure. Sorry for all the hair, geesh...I have forgotten what a pain it was to grow out short hair, so send me tips and lots and lots of headbands;)

Oh, and I thouht this pic was priceless. I've started putting books in his crib during his down time. I went in to check on him and this is what I found him reading...good choice son;)

I have no advice other than headbands for growing out hair. My hair has been every length known to man (or woman, as the case may be). Good luck.

Cute picture of little A reading. Sweet boy.

Love the texture in the first photo! I reminds me of photos that used to be in "Highlights" magazine (you know...the magazine they always had a doctor's offices when you were a kid). The photos were always a close up of an every day object, and you had to guess the object. ANYHOW...

....the second photo is priceless! The DOF is great!!

How awesome! I think it's great you're giving him the BEST reading material there is;) Such a cut pic too:) The hair thing.......I always get about to my shoulders and then I get so sick of it I hack it off again. It takes forever!! And then when I finally do get it long, I want to cut it agin!! Nuts I know but what can I say:) BTW my new lens is the 85mm 1.4 and I LOVE it!

You always come up with such great shots for the theme! Be patient if you really want to grow your hair out. Mine is long now so I can wear it in a ponytail or headband some days. I was ready to cut it off last week when it was really hot! Your short hair is so cute and seems like it would be easy care - are you sure you want to grow it out?

Precious photo of your little son!

Great pics, love the DOF on both and cute that your son picked that book! I never seem to get my hair grown either...I am trying to grow it out right now as well, we will see. I want those long, beautiful locks...but then again, I don't have that kind of time!! Oh well, good luck!

cool shot! Love your conversion. I, too, am growing out my hair. I got it long enough(it is usually short and spiky) to cut it into a bob where it is shorter at the back than at the front and then shaved the little bit at the back that needs to catch up(does that make sense?) It's a nice and easy cut to grow out.

about the vintage wash suggestion on my blog--are you thinking of the vintage kit at two peas or do you have another idea for an action that I could steal? I was trying to get them to look vintage. I just haven't looked into an action yet. I value your suggestion. Thanks.

I love these pics. Especially the 2nd one-too cute. My hair is always long and I can't get the courage to go short again, want to swap:)

Hey, Heather!

It's MommytoTen from 2peas. I just came across your blog and have been enjoying it so much. You just ooze creativity. You continue to inspire me.

Congratulations on your news of another boy! I have a Christopher James (not to mention that I'm also married to one :>), so I have to say I love that name!

I can't find a way to email you (duh), so please email me. I have a question for you...

Thanks,
Amy
