Dark and edgy

I just got home from a family shoot with a 1, 3, and 5.5 yr old. What fun! My PEZ dispenser got a real workout, let me tell you. I just downloaded the photos and this was the first one I pulled up. I'm normally more of a light/fresh BnW lover, but this one screamed contrast to me...so I converted it a bit darker/moodier. This girl has incredible hair...oh to be 5.5 again, right?

I love how her hair kind of mirrors the lines of the fence. I think it would take me 9 million years to grow my hair that long; my DD does it in about 6 months.

OHHHHH! I LOVE this! She is gorgeous, and that HAIR! I had hair like that when I was 5 too, REALLY long and straight. I think the conversion is PERFECT for this shot! Beautiful work!

This is such a beautiful, emotional shot! Love it! The conversion works perfectly for what she is doing and what she is wearing (something about the boots ads to the "edgy" look). great job!

What a great picture. It has a nice older, vintage feel to it. I agree that I like the darker feel to it. Nice job! And yes...oh to be 5.5 again. I wish they could bottle and sell the energy and imagination they have!

Coimbra, April 23, 1975.
"A few days ago, during the homily of Sunday Mass in a parish church in rural surroundings, the priest spoke to his parishioners about the forthcoming elections for the Constituent Assembly. Launched hand of the parabola to be better understood and told them:

-- "My dear brothers in Christ: suppose that one of you is owner of a dairy cow; if socialism wins, the brother takes the cow, but will have to give the milk to the party, if the communism wins, we will stand without the milk and without. cow. .." "
