Hand-me downs are my FRIEND!

I seriously love a bargain. I grew up in a family that LOVED garage-sales, thrifting and getting a good deal. My dad is the king of getting a steal, my mom the queen of saving, and my brother the prince of internet discounts. When we had A, we were given SO much we didn't know what to do with everything. Then, when we found out N was another boy...whoo-hoo, saving $$ by reusing a lot of the stuff we had from A. It was a win-win for us, besides...not that much time had passed in-between the boys-18months to the date almost. This bouncy chair is something I was excited to put N in for the first time. We got hours and hours of entertainment with A so I was hoping N would give us the same. So far...so good.

Just look at little N, does he not look like he's enjoying himself? Did I mention it vibrates and makes soothing noises? Ah yes...such is the life!

Obviously big brother wanted in on some of the action too. It's his first Lazy-Boy I think, just check that relaxed positon.

ROFL at the Lazy Boy comment! That is totally what it looks like! He just needs a coke and a bag of chips while he sits in his underwear watching Thomas the Train! LOL Too stinkin' cute! Little N looks like such a happy kid! You are so blessed with your two little guys!

I love it, Heather! I always figure our baby things make it through two babies in good shape. The first one uses it, then when the second one grows into it, the toddler still insists on using it and wears it out. My baby swing hasn't swung automatically for the last few babies and now it has a serious forward angle to it, but the new babies don't know any different. :)

love that perspective looking up from his feet! and we are definitely a hand-me-down family too. My nieces and nephews are actually starting to have kids now so I'm handing down the stuff that their mother (my sister) handed down to me wiht my first baby! It's a circle of life thing. :)

LOL -- A looks like such a giant in that seat compared to little brother. :) Both of my girls loved hanging out in their bouncy seat, too. . .

These are so cute. I don't know how I could have lived without our bouncy chair for katie. I think she actually slept in it for several months until I finally had to take her out of it because she was too big. Hand me downs are the BEST. I love shopping at thrift stores, even for clothes!

I'm with you about the hand-me-downs. Clothes, toys, etc. I have three boys, so we've passed a lot from one to the next. My daughter, however, is the princess of our castle. She doesn't have any hand-me-downs! Except for my old Barbies, I guess!:) Your shots are adorable!

Okay to cute. Believe it or not I have very similar photos of Jesse as an infant and Jonathan as a toddler in the swing. They were 14 months apart I also have a set 18 months apart.

So cute! We loved the bouncy seat in our house too. When Tristan was in it, he had to fight his big brother and our puppy for it!

The second shot is so cute. I love that last one though the best. "I'm a big boy, sort of!"
The photo makes me think realise that he is still a little sweetie despite the fact he is a big brother. My picture was of a Korean treat called duck (not right spelling). Chewy rice balls filled with honey and sesamie seeds - so good!

Too funny with your oldest. My boys enjoyed those seats when they were too big as well. I love the second photos, such a great expression.

I love visiting your blog every day. That last photo just cracked me up. It's so amazing how big our older one suddenly looks when the new one comes along, isn't it?

And I want to say thank you to you for all the wonderful advice you always give to everyone. I learn a lot from you!

I hate paying full price for anything... The pic of your older one cracked me up. That is sooo my ds, trying to act like a baby, even though he is almost six! tfs.

Seriously, I adore these pictures. Your kids remind me so much of mine. The last one is the best. I remember when I first had my second child, how my daughter would reclaim all her baby toys. It was so funny to see and you really captured that. I love your work. Nice job.
