Mommy...where did I come from?

FLORIDA! That's right, this Rocky Mountain gal was a beach bum at one time. I was born near sand and surf and now, live far away from water. It's great going "home" for the holidays though, especially since this year I got to take my little DS to the beach for the first time. He loved the sand, played in it for a while. I think it's important to always remember where you came from and not to ignore your roots. I know that no matter what, the beach will always be part of my life, even if mostly through a photograph.

Great photos, all of them. I love to visit the beach. Not sure I could ever live there, though. But it sure is beautiful.
