I took little DS for a walk yesterday, late aftenoon and decided to take my camera along. I think you look at things differenly when you are looking for things to take photos of. Even "sleeping" plants can be fun to photograph if you find the right ones. I have no idea what these plants' names are, but thought they made for some interesting pictures. The first one I could not decide if I liked color of BnW with all that texture and contrast. Natural light, ISO 400, Ap 3.2 and 4.0. 24-70L. Defog, curves/levels adjustment, crop.
I'm loving the third one. It's so soft and feathery looking. Nice job. I think I like the color of the pine cone-looking one better. It might be interesting with a bit of color boost.

Very interesting, I don't know what they are called either. I am with Sara on the color boost. Cool pics!!
Neat shots. I think I prefer the color to the B&W of the first one. The third one is a winner. Great detail and your focus and exposure is right on.
Not sure what they are either but both shots are very nice. I prefer the color on the first one and the third one is very cool.
These are beautiful!
I love the first one in b&w. The contrast is great in it! I also love the dof in the third one. Great focus job on that one. TFS
Love the third one, the colors and the DOF are great :) I like the black and white on the second one. Neat pics!
gotta go with the crowd. love the first and the third one. the last one makes me think of a soft spring breeze....great job on these!
VERY cool. I love the lines in the first one...neat plant! Good for you for taking your camera out on a walk! :)
I Love the last one. It is so beautiful and reminds me of home! Love it.
I really like the b/w, love the highlights and shadows. The DOF in the last one is awesome! I would like to see that one in b/w!! TFS!
