Parktacular! POTD 2.17.07

I think we're blessed to have a park right next to our home, even if that park is tiny. This is the extent of the park...a couple of slides, swings and a lot of dirt. Meager as they may be, during the Spring there are tons of little ones around. We had a warm day amid all the freezing temps, so of course we had to take advantage. It was fun until the wind kicked in...then the fun was quickly halted and we took the 5 minute journey home. Taken in natural light, ISO 200, Ap and SS varied.

I just have to say that I love the slide photos! You really captured the differen't angles challenge & ran with it. I snapped some great shots of my girl going down a slide last summer & there really is something in the photos looking down the slide... brings back the fun of preparing for the thrill of the slide ride! Very nice!

Great colors! #4 and #5 are my favorites. #4 is a cool angle.

Congrats on these.

Great pics! I agree. A park is a park. I remember when I was little...it was how big my imagination was, not the park!

Really cool use of the theme. Love those different angles. I might have to copy your idea on the baby angles too before this week is out... Let me go see if I can convince my baby to cooperate...

I love these. They make me what to say, "weeeeeeeeeeeeee." I think you nailed this one. Lucky you to have a nice day. We are supposed to reach 27 today. I will believe it when I feel it. It just might be shorts weather today. :)

Hey I have a question & I couldn't find an email address... I love the slide show on your side bar so I went & made one of my own, but they posted it as a post & now I can't figure out how to get it on the side bar. I was hoping you could tell me how you do it, please :)

I can't wait to be able to take park pictures again. Yours are great. My daughter loves parks and slides so much that we go on hunts for them in the summer. Can't wait to try and take some different angles like you did this summer. Thanks for the inspiration.

Cool shots. Love # 4's angle. Would be perfect except for the bright light in there. I like your take on an ordinary object.
