The trail head. POTD 2.20.07

On my walk, I stumbled upon this sign at the trail head. It's a pretty normal sign for around here, but I thought I would try to take the shot from a unique angle and this is what I came up with. I still was not completely satisfied after looking it over, so I converted it to BnW and then, played with the highlights to blow out the sky, making it appear as if it's against a white background. Ok...much more interesting in my opinion. I really don't know what I ever did before Photoshop, do you? Natural light, ISO 400. Ap 4.5, 24-70L. **ETA** I added the SOOC so you can see the miracle of PS!!!

I don't know what I would do without PS either. I mean, how in the world did we survive with dropping off our FILM at the drug store?!

Great use of angles!
