Organization at a young age. POTD 6.3.07
It appears that DS is going to be organized! I watched little A play with rocks, taking them from the rock bed and putting them neatly in a line on the concrete. I was fascinated for I had no idea a baby could do such a thing. He was concentrating and if I moved a rock, he would pick another rock up and put it in the missing rocks' place. I love finding out new things about my boy and can't wait for the next little nugget I discover.

That is such a cute story! I like this shot with his chubby little hand on his "treasures"! Too cute:) Isn't it amazing how smart they are? It always amazed me when my sons would show me just how much they knew! they grow up sooooo fast........seems like just yesterday I was changing diapers and now we're getting ready for K-5:(

How cute, Heather. First-born children do tend to be very anal and organized (at least that's what they taught me in one of my Psyc. classes!) I just LOVE those chubby little fingers!
I love those chubby fingers!!!! Your DS sounds just like mine, always organizing! He can't stand things out of place, it drives him nuts! It drives me nuts that it drives him nuts! J used to stack up the blocks when he was done playing. He'd have to stack them all before coming to eat or leaving the house. He's just like his daddy...ugh. Just kidding! Really, it's a blessing, not a curse! He's growing up so fast! This is a great capture!

What a cute picture! My son (who is now 4) does the very same thing... mostly with his cars. He gets mad at me if I move one of them away from where he put it in line!

Little kids have always amazed me with what they know at such a young age. I think it's great that you captured it too. Love the chubby little hand next to his creation.

I love his chubby hand, too cute!! Its amazing what they learn at such a young age. My ds is 2 and loves to line things up and makes sure they are all facing the same way, maybe some of my OCD? lol!!

Oh.... I love his precious, chubby hand. I thought my oldest was going to be organized, too. Unfortunately I realized he did like things to be a certain way, he just wanted me to get them that way! Ha!
