If at first you don't succeed.....
First of all...I cannot THANK YOU enough for all your terrific opinions on the shower stuff from a couple days ago. you won't believe what a stressor that was becoming. You gave great examples and testimonies, so kudos to you!!
Check out my thrifting find! We went to the downtown Salvation Army in search for whatever and found THIS!!! What a treasure. It's in terrific shape and the best thing...The boys' nursery has giraffes as a motiff. If that was not enough, it was on sale too.
We brought it into the home and little man was not too crazy about it. In fact, he screamed when I tried to put him on it-BIG mistake. I decided to just put it in the middle of the living room so he could approach when he wanted to and sure enough, before we knew it...he was wanting on. He figured out how to rock right away. I decided that we needed some "naky" pics, so we stripped him to his diaper and brought the giraffe outdoors for some fun. He was in HEAVEN!! Even the neighboors came out to see what all the squealing was about.Mr. giraffe has a few scratches and nicks so I'm going to get out the paint and give him a makeover this fall. I decided that I wanted to try a vintage wash to these photos because something about it made me think of a day gone by.

Very cute pictures. I love his discovery of a new toy. I'm not crazy about the vintage wash on these. Would love to see brighter colors.
