PS can make a favorite!

AH-HA, an underexposure nightmare. I hate it when I pay little to no attention to the histogram because it could be prevented!!! I especially hate it when I really like the shot, so...I went to my trusty PS to try and salvage these, they all look like #1 before.
Here's what I did and it's quite a bit.

1. I ran a light defog at 10-30-0.
2. I duplicated the layer and ran a softlight at %15 opacity.
3. I duplicated another layer and did a screen layer at 30%.

It still looked a bit dark, so....

4. I bumped the curves.
5. I lightened the highlights.

Finally...it's looking "right."

By this time, I knew I wanted to make them BnW for a few frames, so...I converted to a light, warm BnW.

Whew...that was a lot of work. Guess it's a good lesson to pay attention to the histogram and exposure.
