Seeing red?
No, it's not your screen...he is RED! The strangest thing happened during his breakfast the other day. We gave little man some cinnamon roll oatmeal and let him at it (we're working with him on the self-feeding thing) As you can see...he had it all over his face. We didn't wash it up right way, but when we did...we noticed that everywhere the oatmeal had been, little red hives were popping up. Ugh...we didn't exactly know what to do and got a tad nervous he was having some sort of allergic reation. We quickly drew a bath and placed him it. Within about 20 minutes, the redness was subsiding and he was back to having a normal skin tone. Very strange. Must have been the cinnamon, but we don't know for sure. Anyone have ideas?

Cinnamon and McDonald's chicken nugget sauces do that to both my boys! If the bath doesn't work you could give them a dose of Benadryl. They are SO cute!
Cinnamon does it to all my kids too! They all got their dad's sensitive skin! So, after eating cinnamon, and or course smearing it everywhere, they are red for awhile! I wash it thoroughly and it fades like you said! Gotta love the oatmeal on the head shots tho!
Hmm seems odd! But good thing you noticed, I can see in the first pic! Very cute!

My girls get hives from berries- benedryl always does the trick. Scary the first few times though, huh?
Funny pictures! I am sorry about the rash though. I would venture a guess that it's the cinnamon as well.
I bet you're right that it was the cinnamon. It gives me bumps on my tongue too!

sounds like he's got some sensitive skin! my son breaks out everytime any butter, oil, or sauce touches his face. :(
