Outside frozy, inside cozy!

It's roughly 8 degrees outside at the moment, so a cup of nice hot coffee was in order. I like my coffee to be extra-hot, even on the verge of burning my mouth. For Christmas my DH got me this mug for my stocking and I just love it. It's got a stainless bottom to keep the coffee, hotter, longer. He also bought me a large bottle of peppermint syrup, so I made myself a latte this morning and just watched the snow blow around-thanking God for my warm home. What's the weather like where you're at?

Speaking of cold...here's little N all bundled up. He stays like this pretty much every time we go out. He's got just enough room to peer out when the flap is lifted. Don't worry though, next year he'll be right in the thick of things, braving the elements with the rest of us.

It's pretty frozy here too. i'd say at least 8, probably colder, but i haven't gone outside or near a thermometer today

Nate is a little doll.

You KNOW you're rockin' those textures, don't you?! lol We're supposed to have a high of 5 degrees tomorrow (below zero with the windchill) so I definitely know how you feel. I need some hot coffee injected into my VEINS just to stay warm!!

I really like the coffee mug shot! Was that a texture, or an action? It reminds me of cackling. By the way; I agree with your comment on my pinecones that the before is better than the after! Thanks for telling me...Oh, and what an adorable picture of your baby peeking through his "bundling".

Well the cold front hasn't hit north texas yet. So today it was pretty nice. I took some shots of the kids playing football in the yard, but apparently my settings weren't even close to being right. Anyway, great texture on the coffee. You shoudl hang that in the kitchen!

Love the mug! And what a cute shot of Nate! Hmmm... weather here.... it's been in the upper 50s most days, but with the sun blaring down, it feels more like the mid-60s.
