A bit of storytelling today. POTD 5.31

Get a cup of Joe, sit back and relax. Here is a little story for today and it has to do with the theme this week, I'll get to that at the end.

Andrew took his first real tumble today. He was walking with his walker and the walker got caught in the grass. He fell over the walker and then, the walker fell on him. It happened so fast, neither of us could have prevented it, could only stand back and watch the event unfold.

After he fell, he quickly searched for his daddy and wanted some comfort. Thankfully daddy was right there to help him through his first tumble.

After a short time, he decided to cautiously approach the walker again. He was unsure at first...

but then, he thought he may want to try it again. He slowly stood up, gripping the walker pretty tight.

In the end, he decided that it was safe and decided to sit while he caught his breath.

So...the moral of the story is that you can't live without pain. Pain will make us stronger!

Oh life! I'm sure you're proud of his hutzpah to get up and go again. What luck to be able to have been there with your camera on hand. It's a good life lesson documented.

It's so great that you were able to capture that story in photographs! And good for him for not giving up! I had a similar experience last night teaching my 7 year old to ride a 2 wheeler!
