Happy...1979?
We got some of DH's boy-hood clothes from my MIL a while back. At the time they were still a bit big for Dewey, but I recently got the notion to get the bag out again because he's definitely been growing. I found the most darling nightgown and cap and knew it begged to be photographed. The tag says 2T but I knew by looking at it that it was going to fit. A perfect fit it was, down to the hem of the gown. Oh, how I wish I had a picture of DH in this flannel jammie set, I know Andrew would love to compare when he gets older.
He was so good to stay in it for so long that I made him some special peppermint hot chocolate. He'll probably now equate the jammie/cap with the chocolate and want to wear it everyday.5d, 24-70L, ap hovering around 3.2, ISO 500.

OMGosh...I love that he is wearing his daddy's baby clothes! How sweet is that! Beautiful shots!
OMG that is soooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the pics are gorgeous as always too!
wow special peppermint hot chocolate...yummy!!! now that is a treat! so cute as always and how fun to capture some historic memories.
don't you just love how many people are doing POTD??? In Dec, there was like 4-5 of us--I can't believe there is 70 or some posts! Wow!!!! Here's to 2008!
I absolutely love the retro outfits I've seen on your blog. So fun! When I outgrew my clothes as a little girl, my mom passed them on to my cousin. Little did we know that HER mom held on to all of them, so when Peyton was born they showed up with a big box of my old stuff. Lots of Care Bears and Sesame Street! :P
lovely pictures! his PJ's are to adorable!!!
adorable photos, and what a treasure to have him in your DH old clothes!
that is sooooooooo adorable! great shots!
love the perspectives on esp the last one!
they are all awesome!

The first thing I thought was "...with Ma in her kerchief and I in my cap...". Obviously I've been reading that book to the little ones here recently!
What a cutie. I absolutely love how your photos never have that "snapshot" look. These are so good! Can I be you when I grow up?!!
Okay thats it. I have decided you need to be a photographer for a baby magazine. So cute.
You just continue to amaze me. These are wonderful!
Oh those are some fun photos! I love the angle on the last one!!!
Cari
ok, that is the cutest thing ever! could he be any more adorable?
That is so cool that your MIL kept hubbies jammies for your little boys to wear! I especially like the one where he is playing with the blocks. Now I am craving peppermint hot chocolate!
How cute Heather, your MIL is going to treasure these pics! I wish I had saved some of C's baby clothes!!!
Speaking of C, yes, he knew about Sweeney. He's been to see it twice, the second time with the family, so he was able to tell me exactly when to close my eyes so I didn't have to see the gory parts. It made it a perfectly enjoyable movie for me that way!
Oh! He looks like an elf in that hat!
the last photo in color is really aweome perspective. The yellow cut just adds so much. thanks for sharing!
Love it! So cute. Pointy hats are my favorite! (on babies)
He's totally beautiful, and your photography is great! So, don't waste any time on anything else; just take photos of him non-stop for about the next 18 years!
Love these! That is one cool outfit! :) And I really like your conversion on the first ones!
great job as always. that is sweet about them being his daddy's clothes !
What a cutie! Really like that last shot in color of him looking up at you. Great angle.
How fun to have something like that to photograph! You got some great captures, too. That hat definitely made me smile!
What a CUTIE!!!!!! I love that little hat too :)
these are all great. I love the one with the blocks. Great DOF. I also love the color in these
I love your pictures, especially the first and the third one. I like the lines of the bed in the third one, gives it motion!
How adorable is that? What a great MIL to save those kinds of things. You take such great photos... I love visiting your site for the pictures and the stories!
Great shots. Love that you are getting them hooked on cocoa so early. ;)
Those are CLASSIC heather!!! He looks like he could be Wee Willie Winky (was that his name!?) from the childhood poem?
These are so cute, and I love the one from yesterday. Your pictures are so beautiful and natural I always enjoy them :)
i always love looking at your pictures. thanks for sharing.
I remember those hats- my cousin had one, I think.
However, after doing the math, I realized I'm a decade older.
The black and whites are cool photojournalistic shots, but I love the color of the set!
And, the Spiderman cup made me laugh.
I love these...so precious. Your soft tones in your black and whites are always perfect. I like the angle on the color shot too.
Hi!! He's gotten so big since I've last been on TwoPeas! I'm loving Grand Junction. It's a lot different then the Springs, smaller! But it's beautiful, I can't wait for the weather to warm up to really get out there and take some pictures!
What a cutie! Your dh's baby clothes look perfect on A! I just love that stocking cap!
That is so great. Does he look like your DH did?
My MIL saved my DH's coming home from the hospital outfit, and we put it on my son (now 14)for his hospital newborn photo. I treasure that photo and still have the outfit. Maybe his son will wear it someday.
How neat, thats great you got him in some of daddys old clothes!!
Oh I love the red hat (in color) and him looking up at you!
OMG How funny! He is such a cute little guy. It would be great to see a picture of Daddy in this outfit.
